Our favorite Awkward girls get gossipy in this hilarious sleepover-like segment from The Pete Holmes Show!
Ashley Rickards, Jillian Rose Reed, and Molly Tarlov stopped by to chat about the show’s return and more!
In this season, Jenna (Rickards) and her friends embark on their senior year — an intense time fraught with anxiety about making the transition from dependent adolescent to independent adult.
“#HappyDogHappyHubby ;)” wrote the actress on her social media account, alongside a photo of herself and the cute dude.
The actress may or may not be married yet, but she is definitely engaged!
Rickards admitted to her intention to tie the know on Twitter. She posted a photo of her with her man while wearing her engagement ring on March 15.
“Yes, that’s exactly what it looks like. #ImEngaged,” tweeted the starlet. “…I spent all my single-lady days watching every bridal show on @TLC and now that I’m actually engaged I feel like a pro.”
Our favorites are back to their old ways in this first look at season four of Awkward!
In the upcoming season, Jenna (Ashley Rickards) and her friends embark on their senior year — an intense time fraught with anxiety about making the transition from dependent adolescent to independent adult.
On the very first day back at Palos Hills, someone hacks into the school database and leaks the class rankings, which forces Jenna to confront the unfortunate consequence of her wayward junior year: a shockingly low rank that jeopardizes her college chances.
This is a kick in the pants to get her act together, but as is typical with Jenna, nothing is simple. She grapples not just with her usual insecurities, but also with the inevitable attraction that always seems to be pulling her toward Matty McKibben (Beau Mirchoff). Can they be just friends? Maybe friends with benefits?
Meanwhile senioritis kicks in, and Jenna and her friends are increasingly tantalized by the playground that is the world outside school walls. There will be many momentous choices made about college and career in senior year, but just as important will be the decisions about friendships and romance.
Awkward season four premieres on Tuesday, April 15 @ 10:00 PM ET/PT on MTV!
Finally I can show you all new video from ‘Home’! All it takes is one look at the clip to know that these roles are anything but business as usual for these stars. Ashley Rickards is appropriately disturbing in her portrayal and has certainly piqued my interest in this film. I’m looking forward to checking out Home which is having it’s world premiere March 9th as a midnighter in the SXSW 2014 lineup.
